A breathtaking series of concerts marked the first Candlelight tour of the Chamber Orchestra Profundis in Bosnia and Herzegovina, featuring the internationally acclaimed violinist Irina Mureșanu.
Mureșanu, celebrated for her virtuosity, warmth of tone, and profound musicality, enchanted audiences in Sarajevo, Tuzla, and Mostar. Her interpretation of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons was filled with passion and subtlety, bringing to life every nuance of the beloved masterpiece. The colorful spirit of Enescu’s Romanian Rhapsody and the elegance of Holst’s St. Paul Suite, performed together with Profundis, created a diverse and dynamic program that captivated listeners from the first note to the last.
Each concert, illuminated by thousands of candles, transformed into a magical audiovisual experience. The harmony of Mureșanu and Profundis on stage left audiences standing in ovation, overwhelmed by emotion and joy.

Irina Mureșanu has built an extraordinary international career as a soloist and chamber musician, enchanting audiences with her unique blend of technical brilliance, expressive depth, and radiant stage presence. She has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Salle Gaveau in Paris, and London’s Wigmore Hall, earning critical acclaim for her artistry and versatility. Her repertoire spans from the great classical masters to contemporary works, always delivered with precision and profound emotion.
Throughout her career, Mureșanu has been recognized with numerous prizes from competitions such as Queen Elisabeth, Montreal International, UNISA, and Schadt. She regularly collaborates with leading orchestras worldwide and is also a dedicated educator, serving as Professor of Violin at Boston University. Her performance with Profundis in Bosnia and Herzegovina further highlighted her stature as one of the foremost violinists of her generation, leaving audiences mesmerized by both her virtuosity and her deep musical storytelling.
