The chamber orchestra Profundis, founded in 2019 by conductor Gjurgjica Dasic, unites some of the finest Macedonian instrumentalists across generations. Its mission is to deliver high-quality performances of complex classical masterpieces, premiere contemporary works, support top Macedonian musicians and composers, and collaborate with renowned global soloists. Profundis combines innovation, originality, and modernity, embodying the excellence of leading European and world chamber orchestras.

With acclaimed performances in Macedonia and internationally, Profundis has graced prestigious stages and festivals such as Kolarac in Belgrade, Synagogue in Novi Sad, Sofia Music Weeks, Kotor Art, and Sorrento Music Festival. Collaborations include world-class soloists like Stefan Milenkovic, Roman Simovic, Irina Muresanu, and distinguished Macedonian artists such as Vladimir Kostov and Ana Kondratenko.

Known for its creativity, Profundis has ventured beyond traditional classical formats with multimedia projects like "Groove" featuring 3D mapping, "Candlelight", and the opera "The Marriage of Figaro" in collaboration with Balkan Opera Studio. Their repertoire spans a wide range of composers, including Tchaikovsky, Britten, Piazzolla, Mozart, and Philip Glass.
